J'y retournerais ?ABSOLUMENT
I keep coming back to Honfleur. This wasn’t my first visit — I’ve already been many times, and I would definitely go again. Honfleur is a small town where many painters once lived. As you walk through the streets, you’ll see plaques with their names. There are also lots of small galleries and shops selling paintings in many different styles. You’ll find plenty of local products too, including the famous apple cider and Poiré, which is similar but made with pears. My favourite part is the old port, with all its terraces. It’s really nice in the evening to have a drink and enjoy the view. I’ve included a few night photos of the port. The weather is generally nice, and you can visit at any time of the year. There are always tourists around, so it never feels empty. Honfleur has its own beach, which is nice and simple. You can also visit the beaches in Deauville, Trouville, Cabourg or Houlgate. You can easily see Honfleur in one day, but the surrounding area is a real bonus. Deauville is nearby and is very popular with Parisians because it’s only two hours away by train, with the station right in the town centre. One thing to know: having a car is better if you want to explore the whole area. There are also many charming hotels right in the centre of Honfleur, such as Hôtel Le Dauphin and L’École des Demoiselles. Would I go back? For sure. I already have, many times — I think that says it all.
